Canopy leg ballast weight

Canopy leg ballast weight, added to each leg of the structure to hold it in place. It replaces or complements stakes on hard ground, where no anchor can be driven in.

Event organisers, market traders, restaurants and hotels with terraces, beach resorts and event-equipment rental companies set up canopies or folding tents on varied surfaces such as concrete, tiles or decking. A ballast weight helps limit the risk of the structure being lifted by wind.
