Crimping pliers in 45# carbon steel, for fixing terminals and ferrules onto electrical conductors.

Crimping deforms a terminal or ferrule around a conductor to form a firm mechanical and electrical joint. Electricians, cable assemblers and maintenance workshops use the tool on switchboards, harnesses and building installations. The jaw profile must match the type of terminal or connector being crimped.
