Dichloroethane, a colourless liquid of CAS 107-06-2, DCE mass fraction stated at 99.5, in a 250 kg drum. Its density is stated at 1.253 to 1.256.

Dichloroethane is above all a raw material for vinyl chloride production, hence PVC; it also serves as a degreasing and extraction solvent. It interests plastics producers, chemical industries and distributors. Like chlorinated solvents in general, it requires the usual handling and storage precautions of its family.
