Dimethylformamide/DMF with a content of at least 99.9% by GC (CAS 68-12-2), a colourless liquid in a 190 kg drum. It contains at most 0.001% methanol, with a Hazen (Pt-Co) colour of 5 maximum.

DMF is a polar solvent widely used for polyurethane (synthetic leather, coatings), acrylic fibres, films and pharmaceutical or agrochemical synthesis, and it also serves in electronics. Polymer producers, laboratories and chemical distributors buy it. Its stated methanol and colour limits help compare batches, and it calls for the usual handling and storage precautions.
