Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles(DDGS), a light yellow or light brown powder, comes in 50 kg bags. Moisture is limited to 12.0% maximum, and the grade is “super”.

DDGS is a co-product of grain distilling, used as a protein and energy ingredient in ruminant, pig and poultry rations. Feed mills and farmers look at moisture, appearance and packing when comparing lots, since moisture bears on handling in bags.
