DOT 4 brake fluid based on glycol ethers, with a dry boiling point of at least 230°C. Its wet boiling point is at least 155°C.

Garages, fleet maintenance workshops, dealerships and parts resellers use it to fill or renew the fluid in hydraulic brake and clutch circuits. The dry boiling point describes how a water-free fluid withstands heat, the wet one that of a fluid that has absorbed moisture, an important criterion for braking safety.
