Epichlorohydrin with a content of at least 99.90% (CAS 106-89-8), a colourless liquid in a 160 kg iron drum. Its density at 20 °C is stated at 1.180 to 1.183 and its water content at 0.020% maximum.

Epichlorohydrin is a major raw material for epoxy resins, synthetic glycerine, elastomers and resins for water and paper treatment. Resin and polymer producers and chemical distributors buy it. The limits on water and density serve to check each batch on receipt. This product calls for the usual handling and storage precautions of its category.
