Hex auger bit in high carbon steel, listed from 6mm to 40mm and packed in a plastic tube. It comes in lengths of 230mm – 9", 460mm – 18" and 600mm – 24".

With its hexagonal shank, this auger tightens in a drill chuck to bore deep holes in solid timber: studs, joists, posts or frames. It suits carpenters, joiners and renovation contractors. The length is chosen according to the thickness of timber to cross.
