Laboratory sigma blade kneader with a 1 HP motor at 1440 rpm and a 440 V three-phase supply. It is aimed at formulation and development laboratories.

The shaped blades pull, shear and fold the material within the mixing trough, an action suited to viscous pastes, gels, creams and similar materials. Trials that combine mixing and heat transfer benefit from it. The jacket thickness is stated as 2.5–3 mm.
