Polymeric MDI, supplied as the isocyanate component in polyurethane systems. Reactivity, the polyol it is paired with and the processing conditions steer the choice of the material.

It finds its place with formulators and processors of polyurethane systems, where it reacts with the polyol to form the polymer. Exact composition and handling requirements are specified for the formulation, hence the value of describing the process in the request.
