Propionic acid (CAS 79-09-4) with a propanoic acid content of 99.5 % minimum, in 180KG drums or on request. A colourless oily liquid, it has a relative density of 0.993-0.997 and a boiling range of 138.5-142.5 °C.

Propionic acid is used to produce propionates, esters, agrochemicals and cellulose esters, and acts as an intermediate in fine chemistry. Agrochemical, fine-chemical and ester producers and chemical distributors are its buyers. Its handling and storage fall under the usual precautions for carboxylic acids.
