RDP Redispersible Latex Powder (RDP, VAE): a white powder listed under CAS 24937-78-8.

A redispersible latex powder disperses again on contact with water. It is mostly used as a polymer binder in powder mortars, adhesives and plasters, and also finds a place in some paint formulations. The abbreviation VAE refers to copolymers of vinyl acetate and ethylene. A 25kg bag is cited as the reference packing.
