Refined linseed oil, a vegetable drying oil used as a binder component in paints and coatings. The oil is chosen for the drying and binder needs of the formulation.

It is of interest to formulators of oil-based paints, varnishes and putties, as well as paint workshops that prepare their own mixes. Technical quality and compatibility with the rest of the recipe are specified for the intended application.
