Router or edge trimmer with a 6mm chuck for grooves, rebates and edge profiles. The stated chuck size sets the shank diameter of the cutters that the tool can hold.

Joiners, cabinet makers and kitchen fitters use it to cut hinge recesses, shape the edge of a worktop or trim laminate. Cutters must have a shank that matches the chuck diameter, which is worth checking if you already own a set of bits.
