Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate, a white crystalline or granular alkaline ingredient, in 25 kg bags. It is used in detergency, metal surface cleaning, ceramic processing and paper deinking.

Powder detergents, industrial cleaners and metal treatment shops use this kind of alkaline salt, as do some ceramic and paper operations. Like any alkaline product, it calls for the usual handling and storage precautions for this kind of chemical.
