Vertical bead mill with a 25 L chamber, a 25 HP main motor and grinding beads of 1.6–2 mm diameter. The beads provide the mechanical action in the chamber to disperse pigments and fillers.

A mill of this type refines pigments and fillers in liquid formulations, for example paints or inks. At 800 kg, the equipment calls for an installation and handling plan prepared in advance. Beads and parameters are chosen according to the product and the fineness required.
