Vinyl electrical tape

Vinyl electrical tape, 19 mm wide and 0.13 mm thick, for insulating wires and cable joints. The vinyl film is flexible, so it winds in a spiral around a conductor or a bundle and follows its shape without adding much bulk.

Electricians, maintenance crews and workshops use it to insulate a wire splice, protect a junction or gather cables into a bundle. Retailers of electrical goods also sell it with other workshop consumables. A 19 mm width covers cables of ordinary size in a few turns.
