Zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) additives, offered in variants chosen for the antiwear need. They go into oils where protection against wear is required.

ZDDP is an additive commonly used for antiwear protection in engine and industrial oils, and it also helps to limit oxidation of the oil. It brings zinc, phosphorus and sulfur to the finished lubricant. Formulators select the variant according to the antiwear needs and the formulation of the intended oil.
