Agar agar as a fine powder, in 25 kg pp bags or 25 kg fibre drums, for thickening and texture. It is a milky or yellowish powder with a pH of 6 – 8 and a gelation point of 35-42°C.

Texture formulators, food industries and ingredient distributors use it to thicken and structure preparations. The stated loss on drying, 15% maximum, and the gelation point of 35-42°C are useful references when judging whether it suits a recipe.
