Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), CAS 84-74-2, a transparent liquid with a stated purity of 99.5%, 99.0% or 98.0%. It is an oily liquid with no visible impurities.

A plasticiser ester, it is used in polymer processing and additive formulations. Plastics processors and formulators select the purity level that suits their process. The 180 kg drum is moved with suitable handling equipment, and other packing can be customised. Like any industrial chemical of this family, it is handled and stored with the customary precautions.
