Epoxidized Soybean Oil/ESO (CAS 8013-07-8), a light yellow viscous liquid with an epoxy value of ≥6.0 %. It shows a colour of ≤170 (Pt-Co) and an acidity of ≤0.5 mgKOH/g, and it is packed in 200kg drums, 1000kg IBCs or flexi-bags.

This epoxidized vegetable oil is used in polymer processing, notably with PVC, where it acts as a secondary plasticizer and a stabilizing agent. Epoxy value and acidity are the usual markers for comparing batches or offers. It interests PVC processors and additive formulators.
