Leafing aluminium pigment paste whose flakes orient towards the surface of the coating. This produces a reflective metallic finish for industrial coatings and inks.

In a paint or ink, the flakes gather near the surface of the film and form a continuous metallic layer. A leafing paste is chosen for its compatibility with the formulation and for the strength of the leafing effect required.
