Mineral marine cylinder lubricant SAE 50, with typical TBN values of 40, 50, 70 and 100 mg KOH/g. It is meant for the cylinders of low-speed marine diesel crosshead engines burning residual fuel.

TBN expresses the alkaline reserve that neutralises the acids formed from fuel sulphur; the alkalinity and the feed rate are selected according to the sulphur content and the engine instructions. Shipowners, vessel operators, technical teams and marine lubricant distributors are among the buyers.

In your quotation request, specify the formulation wanted and the TBN among 40 / 50 / 70 / 100 mg KOH/g, the sulphur content of the fuel, the quantity in litres and the packing. SAE 50 is the only grade listed. The offer states the formulation retained.

Specifications are based on available documentation. Options, dimensions and finishes for your order will be validated before confirmation.
