SAE 40 marine engine oil, API CF, for trunk-piston engines running on heavy fuels. It serves marine propulsion or land-based power generation.

The fuels concerned are residual or heavy. The typical TBN values stated are 40 / 50 / 55 mg KOH/g: the alkalinity required is chosen according to the fuel, and the lubricant specification must be checked for the engine concerned. Shipowners, shore-based power plants and maintenance workshops are typical buyers.

In your request, state the TBN wanted among 40 / 50 / 55 mg KOH/g, the quantity in litres, the packing wanted, the fuel type and the engine. SAE 40 is the only grade listed. The offer fixes the final conditions.

Specifications are based on available documentation. Options, dimensions and finishes for your order will be validated before confirmation.
