For marine trunk-piston engines, mineral oil SAE 30 / 40, API CF, with a typical TBN of 20 mg KOH/g. It is intended for the crankcase of medium-speed diesel engines.

Shipowners, marine maintenance workshops and marine lubricant distributors buy it for these engines and for severe-service uses: separate bearing lubrication and piston cooling in large crosshead engines. On the fuel side, the sulphur content goes up to 1.0%.

For your quotation, give 30 or 40 as the SAE grade, the quantity in litres, the packing wanted and the engine model. As a reminder, the typical TBN of the SAE 30 and 40 grades is 20 mg KOH/g. Details are settled in the offer.
