Phthalocyanine green pigment PG 7 gives a green tint to industrial paints and coatings. The PG 7 code comes from the colour index, which names the pigment family regardless of any trade name.

It goes into paint, lacquer and coating formulations where a green shade is required. Binder compatibility, dispersion fineness and final shade are checked together, since each one affects the others.
