Red pigment PR 170 colours industrial coating formulations in red. The PR 170 code refers to the colour index and separates it clearly from other red pigments.

Formulation teams for industrial paints and coatings turn to it when a red shade is required. It is paired with a binder whose compatibility has been checked, and dispersion is then tried out on a sample before a production run.
