Sodium gluconate, CAS 527-07-1, white powder with an assay of 98.0 % minimum, in 25 kg bags. Loss on drying is 0.50 % at most and reducing sugars 0.70 % at most.

The sodium salt of gluconic acid, it acts as a sequestering (chelating) agent in food formulations, industrial cleaners and bottle washing. It interests beverage, dairy and cleaner-formulation companies, which rely on the assay and the reducing-sugar limit.
