Isomalt Isomaltitol, CAS 534-73-6, a polyol in white particles of 4 to 20 mesh, in 25 kg bags. Its GPS+GPM content is 98.0 % minimum, of which 43 to 57 % is GPS; water (crystal and free) stays at 7.0 % at most and D-sorbitol at 0.5 % at most.

A sweetening polyol in particle form, isomalt is used in confectionery (hard candies, gums), chewing gum, chocolate and bakery work. It concerns confectioners and processors working with cooked masses or coatings.
